Ever wondered how your personality could affect your career? Mr. Albert Wong provided an answer to that at his workshop on Oct. 15^th called How To Align Your Career With Your Personality.

Mr.Albert Wong is currently a Citizenship Judge at Citizenship and Immigration Canada and the Chief Aide-de-Camp for the Lieutenant Governor of Canada. He has also been serving in the Canadian Military for over 30 years.

CLUES attended this very insightful workshop, presented by Mr. Wong, which was organized by Asians Without Borders. The workshop educated every individual in the audience and provided insights on how using personality to its greatest advantage can shape their career. Mr. Wong provided helpful tips, explanations and multiple scenarios, as examples to enlighten his ideas about connecting personality with career.

One of the first questions Mr. Wong asked the audience was, “How do we stand out?” His response was “Know who you are!” Knowing who we are is the important key in order for us to stand out. Knowing our personality gives us a better understanding of who we are and what is best suitable for us.

Mr. Wong pointed out the Success Measures for Business. He explained that a person’s IQ, skill and personality affects how an individual perceive, interact, decide and act. These 4 factors are used at work, home, play and everywhere we go. So it is important to figure out how we fit in a place using our personality.
